Mas D'en Blei Pettit Blei Red Wine 2023 750ml

Mas D'en Blei Pettit Blei Red Wine 2023 750ml

Viticulture

Grapes sourced from the southwest-facing vineyards on the slate slopes of the Mas d'en Blei estate. Ripening checks are carried out before harvest to ensure optimal fruiting. The grapes are hand-harvested in 10-15 kg crates. After the first selection, the grapes are destemmed and then sorted berry by berry. Winemaking is performed separately for each variety.

Winemaking

A wine with its own style, made with indigenous grape varieties. Cold pre-maceration of the grapes for 24 hours. Long fermentation of 20 to 24 days with indigenous yeasts and daily manual punch-downs. Aged for 6 months in 225-liter French oak barrels (Quercus Petrès), fine-grained and medium-light toasted.

Tasting notes

COLOR
Clean and bright with fine, fast-falling tears. Very vivid ruby color with cardinal highlights.

AROMA
Fresh wine with an intense and pleasant impression. It gives off notes of berries and currants. Aromas characteristic of aging are also present, highlighting a balsamic, mentholated, and licorice background.

PALATE:
It has a lively and dynamic mouthfeel, enveloping and silky, leaving the mouth imbued with fruity notes. The aftertaste is long and intense, lingering with the aromas from the nose.
